These works, known as 'Overpaintings', are comprised of final layers of paint, over the printed underpainting (museum grade prints of paintings), in a system of working in layers. These are all unique and considered originals as they have the hand of the artist adding layers of paint onto the surface of the prints, and while they are not wholly painted originals in the sense of the entire painting being 'an original work' nevertheless they are an affordable option of acquiring an Aelita Andre work.
